CApp programs

The Chicago Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology is a local chapter of Division 39 of the American Psychological Association

We are developing new programs now.  Currently, the following programs are available or being developed:

Live Supervision

Currently we do not have any Live Supervision sessions scheduled.  Please watch for announcements about upcoming CAPP Conversations that will address relevant topics in Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic psychotherapy in a small group setting.  Several Conversations will be scheduled throughout the year.

Courses

Currently we do not offer any formal courses.  Please watch for announcements about upcoming CAPP Conversations that will address relevant topics in Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic psychotherapy in a small group setting.  Several Conversations will be scheduled throughout the year.


Peer Study Groups


Neuropsychoanalysis Reading Group

Consider exploring and sharing your interests within CAPP's newly created Neuropsychoanalysis Reading Group.  During group meetings, the intersection of neuroscience and psychoanalytic thought will be examined through the work of Alan Schore, Mark Solms, Antonio Damasio, Jeremy Holmes, and many more! The group will meet monthly and all meetings will be conducted virtually.
